Très beau temps. Jens va au bureau des gardes côtes et à la douane pour arranger tous les papiers nécessaires mais ne peut pas le faire : il faut présenter la facture du chantier où Hera II a passé l’hiver. Il revient donc, parle avec Spyros et part, en taxi, pour le chantier le retrouver. C’est de l’autre côté d’un fjord et la route passe par un tunnel sous ce fjord. Hera II est mise à l’eau à 11 h. Jens reste à travailler avec Spyros tout l’après-midi et amène Hera II, seul, vers 17 h. Je suis sur le quai à l’attendre et l’aide à amarrer le bateau. Pendant ce temps j’ai « travaillé » moi aussi : j’ai préparé les photos, écrit le blog et envoyé plein de mails pour prévenir famille et amis de ce nouveau blog. Je me suis aussi promenée en ville et à la plage. J’ai parlé longuement avec un marin sur son voilier « Baleine », avec ce nom je pensais qu’il était français, mais non il est anglais. Son voilier porte le pavillon européen, et j’en ai conclu avec raison qu’il n’est pas pour Brexit. Nous parlons de bateau et de voyage, et même de politique, nous sommes d’accord sur de nombreux points. « Baleine » part peu après quand sa femme revient de faire des courses. C’est agréable de se promener, il fait beau, assez chaud (autour de 18 degrés je pense) et la lumière est très forte. Après l’arrivée de Jens sur Hera II, nous prenons un bon ankerdram pour fêter la remise à l’eau du bateau. Puis j’accompagne Jens quand il va acheter deux nouvelles lampes et du gel-coat. Jens compte deux jours de travail à faire sur le bateau, ils se sont mis d’accord avec Spyros que c’est Jens qui va s’occuper des installations électriques. Des câbles ont été débranchés quand le moteur a été sorti du bateau et il faut tout réinstaller. Nous dormons encore une nuit à l’hôtel et emménageons sur Hera II demain vendredi. Nous dinons dans un autre restaurant où les plats chauds sont exposés. C’est bon et pas cher, et tous les autres clients sont des hommes seuls, grecs. Même un pope vient chercher son diner ici et nous ne voyons pas qu’il paye …

Very good weather. Jens goes to the coast guards and to the customs offices to arrange all the necessary paperwork but can’t do it: he has to present the bill of the shipyard where Hera II spent the winter. He comes back, speaks with Spyros by phone and leaves, by taxi, for the yard to find him. It's on the other side of a fjord and the road goes through a tunnel under this fjord. Hera II is put in the water at 11 am Jens remains to work with Spyros all afternoon and brings Hera II, alone, around 5 pm. I'm on the dock waiting for him and help him moor the boat. During that time, I also "worked": I prepared photos, wrote the blog and sent lots of emails to announce the new blog to family and friends. I also walked in town and at the beach. I spoke at length with a sailor on his sailboat "Baleine", with this name I thought he was French, but no he is English. His yacht is flying the European flag, and I conclude rightly that he is not for Brexit. We talk about boat and travel, and even politics, we agree on many points. "Baleine" leaves soon after when his wife returns from shopping. It's nice to walk around, the weather is warm enough (around 18 degrees I think) and the light is very strong. After Jens’ arrival on Hera II, we take a good ankerdram to celebrate the launch of the boat. Then I accompany Jens when he goes to buy two new lamps and gel coat. Jens thinks that there are two days of work on the boat, they have agreed with Spyros that Jens will take care of the electrical installations. Cables were disconnected when the engine was removed from the boat and everything must be reinstalled. We sleep one more night at the hotel and move to Hera II tomorrow, Friday. We dine at another restaurant where hot dishes are on display. It's good and cheap, and all the other customers are single men, Greek. Even a priest comes for his dinner here and we don’t see him pay ...
