18.04.2018 Ermoupolis
Mercredi 18 avril
2018.
Nuit calme. Jens gonfle
temps.

Quiet night. Jens
inflates the Zodiac and we go ashore, the island is blue with flowers, the same
ones as in the archaeological park of Psara. We try to go to the lighthouse but
the many seagulls don’t agree, so we don’t insist. It's amazing that there are
so many flowers, the soil is dry and stony. Back at the boat, we swim and then
start to have lunch and suddenly, the wind goes from F 1 (no wind at all) to F
5 (strong enough wind). We don’t want to relive our experience of September
2015 where we had F 7 here. We leave quickly and it takes us 20 minutes to
reach Ermoupolis, the other time we used 45 difficult minutes. No problem to find
a place, we are the only yacht at the pier. Nice to take contact again with
this big city, the Cyclades capital. We also go back to "our" platform
to swim and dine at the same small restaurant, but instead of a young woman it’s
now an older woman. Explanation she is her mother, the daughter opened another
small restaurant 50 m away. I like the city but the harbor is less friendly: a
swell enters and even in moderate wind, the boats are rolling and move a lot.
Ps Very short blog
today, I have problems with my photos and I have spent a lot of time trying to
fix it.
