Comme prévu par la météo, le vent est très fort, 16 m/s et parfois même 17 (F7), mais Hera II va bien et nous aussi. Jens a des problèmes avec le frigidaire, il a mal branché un fil et depuis le frigidaire ne marche plus. Il va voir son ami chandler (qui lui a fait venir une plaque d’aluminium d’Athènes !) et lui demande s’il connait un réparateur de frigidaire de bateaux. Par chance, il répond que oui. Jens téléphone à ce gars, il vient à 9 h 30 et se met au travail. Moi, je pars en ville pour me promener un peu. En partant je parle avec le Français, lui aussi en vélo. Il a 73 ans et navigue tout seul en Grèce. Dans le port en ville, le seul voilier au quai danse avec la houle (et beaucoup) mais ne sent pas le vent, il est à l’abri des immeubles. J’assiste au débarquement d’un grand groupe de jeunes, plusieurs centaines, avec des professeurs. Puis, autre sorte de spectacle, j’assiste au chargement des voitures sur le « Blue Star Nasos ». Un homme orchestre dirige tout. Mais il y a dû avoir une erreur, à un moment plus de dix voitures qui étaient déjà dans le ferry doivent ressortir à reculons. Il crie, gesticule, le pauvre ce n’est pas bon pour son cœur. Je rentre et le gars du frigidaire (très sympa) a fini, le frigidaire marche. Déjeuner sous le parasol, journal, le New-York Times pour Jens et Le Point pour moi. Début du blog, baignade en ville et diner tardif au bateau. Le vent s’est enfin calmé, cela semble bon de ne plus entendre ce bruit tout le temps.

As predicted, the wind is very strong, 16 m / s and sometimes even 17 (F7), but Hera II is fine and so are we. Jens has problems with the fridge, he has wrongly connected a wire and since then the fridge doesn’t work anymore. He goes to see his friend the chandler (who had an aluminum plate brought for him from Athens!) and asks him if he knows a boat refrigerator repairman. Luckily, he answers yes. Jens phones this guy, he comes at 9:30 and goes to work. Me, I go to town to stroll a little. When I am leaving, I speak with the Frenchman, also on his bike. He is 73 years old and sails alone in Greece. In the town harbor, the only sailboat at the pier dances with the swell (a lot) but doesn’t feel the wind, she is sheltered by the buildings. I watch the landing of a large group of young people, several hundred, with teachers. Then, another kind of show, I look at the loading of the cars on the "Blue Star Nasos". It’s really a one man show. One man directs everything. But there must have been a mistake, at a moment more than ten cars that were already in the ferry must come out backwards. The guy shouts, gesticulates, poor thing it’s not good for his heart. I come home and the (very nice) fridge-guy has finished his work, the fridge works. Lunch under the umbrella then newspaper, the New York Times for Jens and Le Point for me. Beginning of the blog, swimming in town and late dinner at the boat. The wind has finally calmed down, it seems good not to hear this noise all the time.
