Très bien dormi. Jens

We sleep very well on
the boat. Jens tries to put a USB key in the radio and the first song that
comes is by Sissel Kyrkjebø, a song that I like, it makes me happy for the
whole day. We go by zodiac on land and, by small rocky paths, go to see the
ruins of the mine, an iron mine. A sign indicates, in French, the name of the
owners, it must have been a French company. In 1916, a strike was severely
repressed, with the death of workers and police officers. The mine closed in
1963. On the beach, a pretty taverna in the shade of tamarisks, is not yet
open. We return to the boat and we swim. We eat lunch and then rest a little,
our “stillestund”. We go back to land, this time in the other direction. I am
surprised by the number of butterflies. When we come back, we speak with the
only inhabitant of our bay, he is not Greek but South African. He has a holiday
home here and enjoys the quiet of the place to write a book. He tells us about
water problems in Serifos. Back at the boat, I make the blog and Jens cooks.
Late, after dinner, a yacht arrives and anchors, but it is dark and we only see
her lights.
