Nuit tranquille. Jens va acheter du pain et, passant devant une boucherie, achète un gigot pour ce soir. Nous partons à 9 h 30, traversons le « fjord » vers le nord et entrons dans le détroit de Poros. C’est étroit et à certains endroit peu profond du côté ouest (à gauche). Rod Heikell, l’auteur du guide, dit que les pêcheurs locaux gagnent des euros extra à aller tirer les plaisanciers embourbés là. Pas de problème pour nous, nous passons bien à l’est (à droite). La ville de Poros est pittoresque et les voiliers amarrés le long du quai très nombreux, je vois même un bleu. Nous ressortons en mer plus ouverte, vers le nord. Jens voit sur la carte que nous allons passer tout près de l’ile d’ Angistri. Nous y avions fait escale en 2015, en descendant avec Maja et nous avions traversé l’ile en vélo pour venir nous baigner à une plateforme. Nous passons, en fait, près de cette plateforme et c’est le côté de l’ile à l’abri du vent. Nous allons donc ancrer, tout près de la terre, c’est bien profond et faisons un arrêt baignade. Jens, Catherine et moi nageons jusqu’à la plateforme. Puis nous repartons, profitant de la protection de l’ile. Mais il faut ressortir en mer plus ouverte et nous avons encore le vent et les vagues contre nous. Hera II cabriole pas mal, le vent oscille entre F3 et F4. Nous ne pouvons rien faire et la sieste est une bonne façon de passer le temps. Nous allons maintenant droit vers le canal de Corinth où nous arrivons vers 17 h. Nous avons de la chance, Jens paie en 5 minutes et nous attendons seulement 10 minutes pour passer. Nous sommes trois bateaux : un yacht à moteur russe, un « gulet » turc et nous. Passage toujours aussi spectaculaire. De la sortie du canal côté ouest à la marina de Corinth, cela prend une demi-heure, et nous nous mettons pratiquement à la même place que l’autre fois. Jens met le gigot au four, Ragnhild prépare un pudding en suivant les instructions en grec( !), puis tous les quatre vont se promener pendant que je fais le blog tout en surveillant le gigot. Dernier diner tous ensemble, Hans et Ragnhild partent demain pour Athènes. Excellent diner et chaleureuse dernière soirée.

Quiet night. Jens goes to buy some bread and, passing in front of a butcher, buys a leg of lamb for tonight. We leave at 9:30 am, cross the "fjord" towards north and enter the Strait of Poros. It is narrow and is shallow on the west side (left). Rod Heikell, the guide's author, says that local fishermen are earning extra euros to fetch yachts stuck in the mud. No problem for us, we are following the east side (or right). The town of Poros is picturesque and the sailboats moored along the quay very many, I even see a blue name. We come out and are in open water. Jens sees on the map that we are going to pass close to the island of Angistri. We did stop there in 2015, going down with Maja and we crossed the island by bike to come and swim on a platform. We pass, in fact, near this platform and it’s the side of the island sheltered from the wind. We anchor, close to land, it is very deep and we go swimming. Jens, Catherine and I swim to the platform. Then we leave, enjoying the protection of the island first, but we have to come out in more open water and we still have the wind and the waves against us. Hera II is jumping around, the wind oscillates between F3 and F4. We can’t do anything and napping is a good way to pass the time. We now go straight to the Corinth Canal where we arrive around 5 pm. We are lucky, Jens pays in 5 minutes and we wait only 10 minutes to pass. We are three boats: a Russian motor yacht, a Turkish "gulet" and us. The passage is, as always, spectacular. From the west side canal exit to the Corinth marina, it takes us half an hour, and we moor practically at the same place as last time. Jens puts the leg of lamb in the oven, Ragnhild prepares a pudding following the instructions in Greek (!), Then the four of them go for a walk while I do the blog while watching the leg of lamb. Last dinner together, Hans and Ragnhild leave tomorrow for Athens. Excellent dinner and nice last evening.
