Nous partons de Kalamos à 8 h 30 sous un beau ciel bleu et sur une mer toute calme. Nous allons au sud et tournons ensuite vers l’est à l’ile d’Oxia pour rentrer dans le golf de Patras, nous nous dirigeons vers le canal de Corinth pour passer dans la mer Egée. Pas de vent au début et un Force 2 ensuite du sud-ouest. Nous hissons le foc et allons avec le moteur aussi. Le paysage est magnifique, des montagnes enneigées sur le Péloponnèse au sud et la ville de Patras au soleil. Nous voyons le grand pont de Rion-Antirion de loin. C’est drôle de penser que nous sommes passés dessus en bus il y a une semaine quand nous sommes arrivés. Suivant les instructions du guide, Jens appelle « Rion traffic » 5 miles avant puis de nouveau 1 mile avant. Et il n’y a qu’un autre bateau à passer en même temps que nous. Le gars demande la hauteur du mat et nous dit de passer sous l’arche sud. L’autre bateau, une sorte de copie d’une caravelle de Christophe Colomb passe au milieu. C’est plus simple de passer sous le pont d’Askøy! Nous continuons vers Nafpaktos (l’ancien Lepante), vieux port fortifié que nous avions visité le 28 juin 2015 sur notre Maja avec nos amis Fritz et Margret sur leur Longway. Nous y arrivons à 18 h. Aucun autre voilier et un pêcheur nous fait signe de nous mettre parmi les bateaux de pêche, bien à l’intérieur. Nous mettons l’ancre derrière et la proue au quai. Mais l’ancre n’accroche pas et il faut recommencer, cette fois ça va. Le pêcheur attrape nos amarres, sympa. Jens demande si on peut utiliser un corps-mort en plus et il dit que oui. Nous prenons notre ankerdram, un Iced Tea, en admirant les remparts autour de nous. Petite promenade en ville qui parait animée, nombreux jeunes aux cafés et circulation bien bloquée, il faut dire que les rues sont étroites et que les gens stationnent un peu n’importe comment. Diner (encore) au restaurant, mais c’est pour soutenir l’économie locale …

We leave Kalamos at 8.30 am under a beautiful blue sky and on a calm sea. We go south and then turn east at the island of Oxia to enter the golf of Patras, we head to the Corinth Canal to pass into the Aegean Sea. No wind at first and Force 2 latter from southwest. We hoist the jib and go with the engine too. The landscape is beautiful, snowy mountains on the Peloponnese to the south and the city of Patras in the sun. We see the big bridge of Rion-Antirion from afar. It's funny to think we passed it on a bus a week ago when we arrived. Following the guide's instructions, Jens calls "Rion Traffic" 5 miles before and then again 1 mile before. And there is only one other boat to pass at the same time as us. The guy asks for the height of the mast and tells us to go under the south arch. The other boat, a kind of copy of a Christopher Colombus’ caravel passes in the middle. It's easier to sail under the Askøy bridge! We continue to Nafpaktos (the old Lepanto), old fortified port that we visited the 28 th of June 2015 on our Maja with our friends Fritz and Margret on their Longway. We arrive at 6 pm. No other sailboat are in and a fisherman shows us a place among the fishing boats, well inside. We put the anchor behind and the bow to the dock. But the anchor does not catch and we have to try again, and this time it's okay. The fisherman catches our ropes, nice. Jens asks if we can use an additional mooring and he says yes. We take our ankerdram, an Iced Tea, admiring the walls around us. Small walk in town that seems lively, many young people at the numerous cafes and heavy traffic, it must be said that the streets are narrow and people are parking everywhere. Dinner (again) at a restaurant, but it's to support the local economy ...
